Join us for our Second Annual 5K Run/Walk – a day where fitness and health awareness come together!
Proceeds from this race benefit the Volusia Giving Gardens, a student-led community garden initiative raising awareness around food equity and sustainability, and other Central Florida non-profits.
The fast and flat 3.1-mile course around Blue Jacket Park entails 2 loops, a big loop and a small loop inside the big loop (see map below) with the opportunity for 2 water stops.
All 5K participants will be rewarded with an exclusive medal and tank top shirt to commemorate their achievement.
Parking: There is ample free parking in the Blue Jacket Park parking lot along General Reese Rd, including EV parking.
5K starts at 7:30 am.
Kids Fun Run starts at 8:30 am
Awards at 8:45 am
Entry Fees: Now until July 1st, Early Bird: $25. July 2nd until race day: $35
Kids Run (7 and under): FREE! Kids are divided into appropriate age groups and distances. Sorry, a shirt is not included but you can buy one for only $10!
Awards will be given to the top finisher in each age group: 9 and under; 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 33-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above.
Additional Information: Packet pick-up will be available on the morning of the race, beginning at 6:00 am.
